Privacy and analytics

Your saved games, recent games, sound preference, player name and personal bests are stored in your browser. Clearing this site's storage removes them. Some open-source games keep their own local progress.
Public scores
Sharing a score is optional. If you submit one, your chosen player name, game and score are saved on the server and displayed publicly. Choose a nickname rather than personal contact details.
Contact messages
If you send a contact message, your name, title and message are stored privately for the administrator and included in database backups. We do not send contact-form contents to Google Analytics.
Game monitoring
We count page visits, loading results, starts, completed runs and errors to maintain the games. An anonymous first-party browser cookie helps deduplicate repeat clicks and visits. It lasts 90 days; only a one-way hash is stored with recent metrics. These counts represent browsers, not verified people, and this identifier is not sent to Google Analytics. Operational event totals are kept for 30 days. Recent error messages are bounded and scrubbed before transmission. Server access logs also contain request information, including IP addresses, for operation and troubleshooting.
Google Analytics and performance
Google Analytics and Firebase Performance help us understand game discovery, loading and play. Google may use browser identifiers and cookies and process device and referral information. We do not intentionally send your player name, submitted nickname, raw search text or the site's random monitoring identifier to Google Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our configuration.
